Here are Emily’s key takeaways:

  1. Confidence is a muscle that you can develop. It doesn’t matter if you succeed or fail, taking even the smallest action builds that confidence muscle.
  2. Stop with the people pleasing and stop thinking its your job to look after everyone else.
  3. Perfectionism is a dangerous thing because you don’t put yourself out there for fear of failing
  4. The trick to doing anything in life is to not give up and find your way around “No”. Work at that goal because you can do it
  5. Take an inventory of what you love to do and ask yourself – how can I make a living doing that?
  6. To rediscover your true calling ask yourself – What do I love to do? What do I not love to do? What are my skills? Allow yourself to brainstorm – its a good start
  7. The world would be a better place if women’s voices were 50% of the conversation across the board in the world.
  8. Achieving our dreams and goal in life – it’s important. And sharing your story is also important.
  9. If I don’t do it now, will I ever do it?
